One top headline in the AI space to know:
🎸 The Beatles Are Back (With AI)
A new song from The Beatles is coming — yes, you read that right!
Half a century after the legendary band disbanded, Paul McCartney revealed Tuesday that an upcoming new song is in the works — and is being made possible by artificial intelligence.

A demo featuring John Lennon's voice was processed and purified using AI, facilitating the track's creation, McCartney told BBC Radio 4 this week.
“When we came to make what will be the last Beatles record – it was a demo that John had that we worked on and we just finished it up, it will be released this year – and we were able to take John’s voice and get it pure through this AI.”
While the title of the song remains a secret, experts speculate that it might be "Now and Then," a song composed by Lennon in the late 70s. Lennon's demo tape, given to McCartney by Yoko Ono, has previously been used to complete two other Beatles songs posthumously.
Yet this use of AI sparks ethical and legal debates, particularly around issues of authorship and ownership.
McCartney's experiment with AI may draw in new fans, though it could also risk alienating Beatles purists. Regardless, the technology continues to make waves in the music industry, with both intriguing potential and complex dilemmas.
