One top headline in the AI space to know:
🌎 NVIDIA Working to Revolutionize Climate Research
Leading chipmaker NVIDIA and CEO Jensen Huang are making the most of a record year in the AI industry, with a surging stock that's been the talk of Wall Street and several splashy investments.
But Huang's vision extends far beyond his financial success story. The founder is harnessing the power of NVIDIA's breakthroughs to tackle a challenge that impacts us all — climate change.
NVIDIA is working with the EVE community, @BSC_CNS, @acc_climate, @UW, @meteoschweiz and Max Planck Institute for Meteorology to simulate and visualize the global climate.

In a keynote at the Berlin Summit for the Earth Virtualization Engines (EVE) initiative on Monday, Huang shared how artificial intelligence, digital twins (virtual replicas of real-world systems), and high-performance computing could mark a seismic shift in climate research.
By marrying NVIDIA's state-of-the-art tech with these cutting-edge approaches, Huang believes we can unlock a new understanding of climate patterns and impacts.
But what exactly are these digital twins? Essentially, they are interactive virtual models that mirror complex systems.
In climate research, they simulate phenomena like weather patterns and climate dynamics.
When fed with vast datasets and powered by the phenomenal processing capability of NVIDIA's GH200 Grace Hopper Superchip, these digital twins facilitate more accurate, detailed long-range forecasts.
In Huang's vision, NVIDIA's contributions aren't just advancing climate research — they are putting critical information into the hands of policymakers, businesses, and researchers, empowering informed decision-making and proactive climate management.
As a result, NVIDIA's banner year isn’t just positive for the company — but potentially a win for the entire planet.

Since it feels like ChatGPT’s built-in plugin store flies a bit under-the-radar, here are two interesting ones to try:
(P.S. — if you’re unfamiliar with plugins and have a paid ChatGPT account, you can find the store under the GPT-4 tab → Plugins (Beta) → dropdown Plugin Store)
