Major players like Booking, Expedia, and Airbnb are turning to artificial intelligence for new business innovations — bringing some major enhancements to the user experience and streamlining the booking process.
Your friendly AI travel agent 🎫
Priceline is leading the way through a new partnership with Google Cloud, leveraging generative AI tools for more personalized customer interactions — ranging from complex travel changes to thoughtful recommendations for activities on a trip.
In addition to Priceline, Expedia jumped into the AI waters in April with a ChatGPT-powered plugin to assist with travel planning — one of the first available on the application. And in May, rental giant Airbnb followed suit, integrating ChatGPT directly into the company’s app.
“In the next 12 months, you’ll see major changes to our customer service — the quality gets better, and the costs will be lower.”
